Take a break from work with these desk friendly exercise classes

To improve our health we need to move more, but how do we do that? These short, office-friendly sessions give your body movement breaks. They are designed to offset the effects of the repetitive shapes we take in our body all day.

Whether you sit a lot, hunch over a desk, or stand for work, these classes are for you. Take a nourishing movement break to reduce muscle and joint pain. The more you move, the better you'll feel able to maintain energy throughout your day— it’s really as easy as that.

Denise Wellin

Hello! I’m Denise Wellin. Over 30 years ago, due to a repetitive motion injury (tendinitis) from my career as a sign language interpreter, I started a journey into health, wellness and pain management that continues today.

At WellinLife movement is more than an exercise session you do a few times a week. Weaving yoga, mindset and movement curiosity into daily life along with a regular 'workout' routine is not only scientifically proven to be healthy, it's a fun way to approach life. I offer my clients exercise instruction and knowledge from anatomy, biomechanics, pain management and psycho-social influences on living well as we age. I like challenging my body to lift weights - often dumbbells and barbells, usually my own body weight for pushup or pullups, and everyday getting up off the floor gracefully.

For optimal well-being, we need to learn how to move well, move often, relax well, and relax often. The combination of yoga asanas, breathwork, restorative exercise, and resistance training can support our lifelong, day-to-day, moment-to-moment, healthy movement habits.

Because there is not one right way to wellness, I study a variety of wellness modalities and systems. Certifications earned include: Certified Personal Trainer (ISSA) and Restorative Exercise Specialist™ (Nutritious Movement), Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT200), Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach. I am a former certified sign language interpreter and am fluent in ASL.

Are you ready to get comfortable in bare feet, moving from floor to standing, twisting, bending, balancing, reaching, breathing?

Are you ready to enjoy the hobbies and activities you love to do with more energy and stamina?

Are you ready to appreciate everything your body is capable of doing no matter your age or current fitness level?

Let's get moving!
